Zora O’Neill grew up in New Mexico, but took it for granted until she moved away for college. Now she’s grateful to have this beautiful state to return to–and its delicious food to eat. When in New Mexico, she can often be found at the Frontier in Albuquerque, ladling unseemly amounts of green-chile stew onto her breakfast burrito.
She’s well suited to this work, because she’s dangerously obsessed with details–hence this update site, and the one for Moon New Mexico.
Zora is the author of a travel memoir about Arabic and the Middle East, All Strangers Are Kin (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016). She ran the cooking podcast Cooking in Real Time and in October 2009, Penguin published her cookbook with Tamara Reynolds, Forking Fantastic! Put the Party back in Dinner Party.
